What an amazing first day! The students are all settled into their new classes, and while they’re VERY hot, they’re happy! Here’s a look at Mme Niki and Ms. Niunka’s grade six class!
After two weeks of fierce competition, the Grade 6s of 214 have completed the 2018 Westpark Academic Olympic Games. Competing in events based on English, Math, French, Social Studies, Science, Phys Ed, Drama and Music, they learned a lot and got some exercise while they were at it. All events were well planned and their hard work made for a great time.
Congratulations to all academic athletes and a special congrats to the overall winners Jamaica, Brazil and Norway.
After weeks of work, one of the Grade 6 classes is about to start the 2018 Westpark Academic Olympics. Stay tuned for updates!!
Today, the Grade 6’s had the awesome opportunity to attend Career Day at school, where they were able to learn more about careers that interest them in the fields of business, health, visual arts, communications and the environment.
